Reiki

The word Reiki is Japanese and means Universal life-force energy. Rei means the Higher Intelligence which guides the creation and functions of the Universe. Ki means the life-force energy which flows through every living thing, including humans, plants and animals. When these two words are put together to form Reiki the meaning can be simplified as Universal lifeforce energy.

In the 1920s, a Japanese Priest, Dr Miako Usui rediscovered a way of channeling this healing energy. He called this Usui Reiki Ryoho meaning Usui Spiritual Energy Healing Method; we now simply call this Reiki.

Reiki practitioners use hands-on or hands-near healing through which universal energy is transferred through the palms of the practitioner to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing.

Helen is a 12th Generation Reiki Master and Teacher. As well as Reiki healing, she also offers Reiki training either in a group or on a 1:1 basis.

What happens during Reiki healing?

After an inital chat to find out if you have any specific reasons for coming for Reiki healing, you will be invited to lie down on the therapy bed. You will remain fully clothed, only removing your shoes and coat.

Helen will then connect to the Reiki energy and will then channel this through to you, sending the energy where it is needed most. This can be done with the hands on your body or just above. During the treatment you will feel deeply relaxed; you may see colours or images as though you are dreaming.

The Cost:

The session, including inital consultation and final chat, lasts for an hour. It costs £35.

Reiki and Crystal Healing

Experience a beautiful treatment combining the many benefits of both Reiki and crystal healing.

Crystals will be placed on or around the chakras to balance energies whilst a Reiki treatment is performed. A healing crystal grid will also be placed on our studio altar to sending healing energy to the client.

The Cost:

The session, including inital consultation and final chat, lasts for an hour. It costs £50.

Reiki Exchange Circle

Reiki Exchange Circles are for everyone. Whether you practice Reiki currently or you have never experienced Reiki before, you are welcome to join like-minded individuals to share and exchange this healing energy.

• When: 2nd Sunday of each month, 12pm - 2pm
• Cost: £5

Reiki Training

Helen is a 12th generation Reiki Master and Teacher, tracing her lineage directly back to Grand Master Usui. If you are interesting in starting out on your own Reiki journey, Helen can guide and instruct you. Levels 1 and 2 are taught in small groups, with your final Master Teacher level being offered on a 1:1 basis.

Reiki Level 1 Training and Certification, 20th + 21st April, £150

Reiki Level 1 Training & Certification is for anyone who is interested in learning more about Reiki for their personal development, or as a foundation upon which to build a career as a Reiki Practitioner.In this course, we will learn about the history and origins of Reiki; what an aura is and how to read one and the chakras and their meanings. You will also learn how to connect with Universal Healing energy and how to use this on yourself, your family and friends.During this course, you will receive 4 attunements from Reiki Master Teacher Helen Crossley, a course manual and certificate to celebrate your training.

Shamanic Healing

Experience Shamanic Healing with our Shaman, Mystic and Wise Woman, Helen.

Using the ancient practices of Shamanism, Helen will work with her team of Spirit Guides to work on a problem area which you are experiencing. Shamanic Healing works on physical, spiritual and emotional levels and is a very deep form of healing.

We will start with use of healing linguistics to get to the energy of the problem, before working with Spirit to clear the negative energy of the situation.

What happens during Shamanic Healing?

As with Reiki, we will have an initial chat to find out what brings you for Shamanic healing. You will then be invited to lie down on the therapy bed, remaining fully clothed, only removing your shoes and coat.

Appointments can last up to two hours. Please also allow quiet time after your healing to allow you to process what has taken place.

The Cost:

The session in full, including the inital consultation and final chat, costs £90.

After your  healing:

You should try to relax and take it easy after your session to allow the energy to settle. If possible, eat small meals and drink plenty of water.
